Enjoying the View

We’ll also explore:

  • What kind of travel vibe suits you? Solo but social? Local and immersive?

  • How to choose the right destinations based on climate, culture, and time of year

  • A high-level strategy for budgeting, including daily spending targets

  • Tips for staying emotionally connected to family while you’re away

  • Early-stage prep like travel timelines, visa considerations, and what kind of accommodation fits your goals

In our first session, we’ll lay the foundation for your adventure. We’ll dive deep into your budget, travel goals, and the experiences you’re craving; whether it’s yoga on the beach, scuba diving in clear waters, volunteering in local schools or all three.

This session is about dreaming big while staying realistic. We’ll talk about how to hit pause on your current life, navigate time off from work or transitions between jobs, and get creative with how you can afford long-term travel.

We move at YOUR pace on YOUR schedule. Whether this process takes weeks or months, I promise to be with you every step of the way.

SESSION 2:

In this session, we’ll go through a detailed draft itinerary that includes:

  • Top accommodation picks from social hostels to cozy homestays, based on your travel style and comfort level

  • Transportation options: how to get around easily, safely, and affordably (from local buses to domestic flights and everything in between)

  • Must-see highlights & hidden gems tailored to your interests, from popular tourist attractions to serene spots off the beaten path.

  • Visa and entry requirements: what you need, how far in advance to apply, and how to simplify the process

  • Flight recommendations: routes that work with your time and budget, plus tools to track prices and book at the right time

  • Medical and safety prep: advice on travel insurance, vaccinations, and staying healthy on the road

  • Optional local connections: trusted guides, volunteer program contacts, and insider tips that go beyond what you’ll find online

Between sessions, I’ll research and map out a custom travel plan just for you. Using my first-hand experience, local connections, and solo travel know-how to build something that fits your vision and your budget. We’ll walk through this and make adjustments as you wish.

SESSION 3:

Information covered and follow-up tasks will be emailed to you after each session

Packing & Pre-Departure Prep

Temple and Backpack

By this session, your itinerary is locked in. Now it’s time to make sure you’re fully prepared to go. I’ll walk you through exactly what to bring, how to pack efficiently, and what to double-check before boarding your flight.

You’ll receive a custom packing list, tailored to your destinations, activities, climate, and cultural expectations. No generic Pinterest templates here. I’ll also share my personal recommendations for smart, space-saving gear and my must-have items that most people don’t think of.

We’ll also cover essential pre-departure steps to make sure you’re not scrambling last-minute, including:

  • What travel cards to use (and avoid), how to access emergency funds, and how to prep your finances while abroad

  • How to prepare your phone: from unlocking it for local SIMs like Airalo to deciding whether to cancel your current plan but keep your number

  • Digital tools to make travel easier: offline maps, language apps, and must-have safety backups

  • Travel insurance guidance and a checklist for documents to print or save (passport, ID, insurance, vaccine records, etc.)

  • Small extras that make a big difference, like carrying two passport photos, getting an international driver’s permit, packing AirTags, and bringing the right adaptor

  • Go over tips for staying grounded and present on the road, including journal prompts, reflection tools, and routines to help you feel balanced and intentional

  • Cover how to navigate social scenes overseas with awareness including recognizing red flags, setting boundaries, and trusting your instincts

Why Trust Me?

Because I’ve been exactly where you are right now. I had no one in my circle that I could reach out to for help when planning my first 8 months of solo backpacking through Europe, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Thailand. I remember sitting on my bedroom floor with my budget scribbled on a ripped piece of notebook paper, frantically reading through travel guides, wondering if I’m even brave enough to pull this off. I wish I had someone to help me. Now, two years and many more countries later, my life has completely changed for the better thanks to solo travel. I am a new, confident version of myself that I can be proud of. I want nothing more than to help other women with their own transformation.

I’ve made many mistakes while traveling so you don’t have to. I’ve followed the Pinterest travel guides, I’ve asked ChatGPT  and realized neither are worth it. I found my way off the beaten path; I know the hidden gems and best connections and want to share it all with you.

More on my travels; where I’ve been and what I’ve done

Testimonials

I can’t sing enough praises about Hannah’s travel planning! I have told everyone I know about her services – and everyone is always shocked and how much she helps with for such a low price. Hannah planned me a 6 week trip in between matching for residency and graduating from medical school. I was able to go all around Japan, southern Thailand, and northern Vietnam. From the beginning, she was kind, patient, and adaptable as my ideas changed quickly. Throughout my trip, my dad, brother, and best friend all come visit me at different times and she planned each section of the trip perfectly for their personalities! She even found an English speaking fly fishing guide in Japan for my dad! She made so many changes for me during the trip as things came up, like when I realized I wanted to work scuba diving into my itinerary, spend more time in HaNoi, or change my HaGiang loop dates. She never made me feel like a bother even though it was so much work for her to make all these changes and do so much research. I did the larger package that included day-to-day planning and it was so worth it. She found me the most incredible hostels - I was easily able to make friends at every stop along the way! And when I needed a break from the hostel life, she was able to find really great guesthouses/cheap hotels. She had great recommendations about good food in the area or secret beaches to not miss. A super underrated bonus was the organized to-do list she made while trip planning. I was super busy with residency interviews during most of the planning process and she made prioritized lists for me to check in on to ensure nothing fell through the cracks. She checked in on me numerous times throughout the trip and truly cared so much about me having the absolute best time. I cannot say enough good things about Hannah and her work! It is such a steal for all of the things that are included in her packages. I will absolutely be booking her again!
